World Economic Forum Annual Meeting - Davos-Klosters, 25-29 January 2012

The World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos brought together political, intellectual, business, arts, cultural and social leaders. “The Great Transformation: Shaping New Models” was this year’s theme.  With some 260 sessions over the course of a few days, the discussions were wide ranged on everything from Fixing Capitalism to the Secrets of the Universe.

Dr Armen Sarkissian, a regular speaker at Davos since 2002, spoke in a number of panels and sessions, including “Joint Energy Governors: Building Trust — Towards Improved Energy Industry – Society Relations. Energy Governors Meeting” on 26 January; the session on “New Energy Architecture: Enabling an Effective Transition”, on 27 January and “Roadmaps to Reform, Pathways to Inclusive Growth: MENA/ Europe and Central Asia Dinner”.  He was a panellist of the session on “The Davos Debrief: Sustainability and Resource Models” which was held on 29 January.
